Nani opened the score for Portugal in the 42nd minute. After an effort in the 2nd half, Denmark managed to score an equalizer in the 84th minute through Bendtner. The joy only lasted 2 minutes, because a penalty was awarded to the hosts. Deco transformed and Portugal beat Denmark.

England takes revenge for missing the Euro and smashed Croatia at their home. Quality stuff from England! Probably their manager is surely going to coach in England after this!
Oh boy, I heard from a friend Croatia fans are furious.
England opened the scoring through wonder-boy, Theo Walcott! There was a hint of offside, but Theo Walcott’s cross goal shot ended up over the line and England are one-nil up! A good pick by the England manager… he showed faith in the young star.
Croatia could have still made a comeback but Robert Kovac “decided” to take a red card and leave his team in 10 men, with more than 30 minutes left! England imediatly took advantage of the situation and Theo Walcott doubled his tally 10 minutes later. Wayne Rooney decided to finish Croatia for good and netted one as well!
Croatia tried to come back in 10 man, and scored in the 78th minute. Srna was through and took advantage of some sloppy play from England as Mandzukic rolled the ball passed the Pompey keeper and into the net. The goal should have never been allowed though due to a high challenge from Srna on Terry prior to the goal. A contentious goal from Croatia.
And when everybody thought it was over, Theo Walcott got his hat-trick! Rooney brought the ball down with a sublime touch and fed Walcott through to roll the ball into goal with his left peg.

After only a draw in Albania, Sweden managed to win on their own field against Hungary, 2-1. Kim Kallstrom opened the score in the 55th minute and Holmen made 2-0 in the 64th minute. Hungary only managed to grab a consolation goal in the injury time.

After what was called a lucky win with Cyprus, Italy had no problems winning against Georgia. After Di Natale, now came De Rossi turn to be a hero.
First time in the 16th minute. De Rossi fond space for a shot from about 20 meters after dribbling past an opponent, and opened the score with a thundering strike!
Then late in the game, in the 89 th minute to be exact. Del Piero found De Rossi with a good pass after a nice dribble, the Roma midfielder beat Loriya with a low diagonal shot from inside the area.
Italy dominated the match from the start to the end.

A win for Holland, not as difficult as the score shows though. Heitinga broke the ice in the 46th minute and new galactico van der Vaart doubled the score 14 minutes later. Pandev scored the host’s goal from a penalty in the 77th minute.
