I was looking for a toy last month for my daughter. Specifically a xylophone, and having a very difficult time finding something that was high quality and not made in China. This is quite a feat these days when 99% of toys are made in China.
So, with the help of some Highland mommies, I compiled a list of vendors selling toys that are made in the USA, Europe or go through extensive testing.
On our site, we only sell toys that have been tested. Our toys are high quality and have been tested throughly for lead and other materials that may be harmful. But, if you are looking for something that we don't carry, check out these other vendors.

We had a huge month. We sold our home in Eugene, bough a home in Denver, and started our new baby boutique site. As you can imagine, things here are a little hectic. But we are loving Colorado. We've been trying to get outdoors on the weekends to explore the stunning Rocky Mountains. We went to go on a simple hike a couple of weeks ago when Ken was visiting. We didn't quite realize there would still be snow on the ground. So, we ended up playing around in the snow enjoying the beautiful vistas.

Here is a pic of me and Zo playing in the snow. This was her first time actually touching snow (even though she had been outside in it before). She was quite intrigued.
