Paris, La tour Eiffel

Paris. Love stories(it is only a legend! More frequent are the lovers arguments in Paris!).
What to do in Paris? walk on the Champs Elysees; go with a boot along Seines, search the bouquinistes, visit Le Musee du Louvres, go to the Opera. Or , much better than all these, take a panorama of the City from the Tour Eiffel.
La Tour Eiffel, as the french name it, was at its beginning a controversial building. Gustave Eiffel, the designer of builder, was even imprisoned for this nasty ugly building rising in the heart of Paris. But the history build another story and value for the Tour.
The Tour Eiffel is not very new. It was build in 1896 when Paris hosted the World Exposition and made no big impression. The authorities draw already plans to demolish it in 1909 in order to rebuild a normal beautiful building! Fortunately, they did not achieve this plan.
I like this Tour Eiffel for sure. Many French or foreign pair of lovers use to make love under the tour. What do you think about it? Are they exhibitionists or not?
The Tour Eiffel with its 300 meters height was for a few decades the . Today it could seem even small, but remains Paris highest. 200 000 000 visitors gave money to get the Paris panorama from the top. There are no chance not to pay to get the sight, I am sorry to disappoint you. If you are smarter than I was, tell me the trick, pleaaaaaaase!
You must see La Tour Eiffel three times: at dawn, at noon, and by sunset. And you must be aware of a trick of these smart French: in order to get an uniform look, the Tour is painted in three different colors (very near , nevertheless!). And bear in mind another very important matter, specially if you are a budget traveler and live in a Paris hostel: drinking a coffee at the top of the Tour Eiffel could be more expensive than a dinner in a fancy restaurant!

Nice tips. La Tour Eiffel, I guess it’s the kind of cliche but have-to-visit place. So famous anyway. : )
